We took the youth from church ice skating on Saturday. They had a blast. The only kids who got hurt were mine. Ashton tried to do a spin and fell on his cheek and scraped it. Jayden fell and hit the wall and bruised his knee. No major injuries though. I just watched and took pictures. The cold air was really hurting my neck. I still had a lot of fun watching all the kids.

Troy had to do a wedding last Saturday the 11th. The bride rented a photobooth to be set up so everyone could take their pictures. She received a copy of all the pictures and we could download them off their site. Well this is what ours looked like. I thought they turned out pretty cool.

Halloween

These are a few pictures from Halloween of friends and family.

Pumpkin Day!!

Colby, Ashton, Jayden, Jade, Lily, and Rayn carving pumpkins. I think they had a great time. Nothing like waiting until the last minute we did this October 30th. I am just glad we got it done. The boys love being with our friends so that made it that much better.
Colby did great in Cross Country this year. This is a picture of the District meet. He came in second place with a time of 10:32. The first place was his friend Zach who finished with a time of 10:31 yes only one second faster than Colby. They both did sooo good we could not be prouder of either one of them.

We went to the Capital after Colby's cross country meet in Round Rock. We did not stay very long because I was hurting too bad but we did enjoy the short time we were there. We let the boys chase squirrels. It was quite funny because I don't think the squirrels were very afraid of them. It gave me a chance to rest. I think the pictures turned out pretty good.

Well it is official Troy and I are getting old. Aside from all the aches and pains we are going through we decided to let Colby drive the car in a parking lot. I was scared at first but once he got going he did great. I am starting to wonder if he is driving the car at night when we are sleeping.
We had a scare on Monday. Colby called my during his first period class and said that he got hit in football practice and blacked out. Troy and I took him to the hospital and they did a CT scan and x-ray of his neck and it was fine. The doctor said he had a muscle strain. So he can not practice for 3 days. He will get to play on Thursday but the odds of the coaches putting him in are slim to none. I just hope that he gets to play a little.
I had my MRI yesterday and I was hoping that I would get in to the doctor today but I have not heard from them. I hope they call because I could use some answers right about now. I am making mums, garters, and ring mums since this week is homecoming. The boys are selling ring mums like crazy at school and I am trying my best to keep up. I love doing it I just wish my neck did not hurt so bad.
Ashton has joined Cub Council at school and loves it. I 'm glad that he has found something he likes. They stayed after school the other day decorating for spirit week.
Jayden's asthma has gotten better this week so I hope it continues to keep improving.
Well thats my story for now catch ya later.

Pain in the NECK!!!

Well I went to the surgeon yesterday for my neck and he is sending me to get an MRI. I go back to him in a week to see what he wants to do with me. I am in a lot of pain and it is hard for me to hold up my own head. I am on pain pills all the time now which I hate. I am trying to rest as much as I can so I can make it to Colby's football games and cross country meets each week.

Ok this is for the anonymous posting on my comments. This is my update. Yesterday was my birthday lovely September 11th. I had a great day. I think everyone must have been praying for me to have a great birthday because my neck did not hurt all day long it was great. So if you one were one of those people THANKS A MILLION!!!! Unfortunately the pain is back in full force. I have the papers to get a MRI. I get my pain shots on Monday and I see the surgeon on September 24. I am living on pain pills and I hate it. I told Troy the other day that I don't even like myself right now so I feel sorry for them. I am just so grumpy right now because I am in pain. I am trying to do my best to still go on with my daily life schedule but it is hard. I did get a bunch of things for my birthday : My sister Ladale gave me a cross necklace and earrings they are sooo pretty, Tami gave me a frame with crosses on it and two porcelain crosses ( they look great on the wall by the way), Gina gave me Pink flowers my favorite color ( thanks Rusty for sacrificing your shirt in the car holding the vase), Kim gave me a wooden door pumpkin that says blessings from above (looks great on my door if I do say so myself) and the greatest gift of all was from my friend Martha( who recently found out that she has cancer) she got back her results from her CT scan to see if she has cancer in her upper body came back CLEAR yes thats right she does not have cancer in her upper body praise God!!!!!! Thats the best Birthday present I could have ever gotten.

So that is whats up with me so the anonymous person can now leave me a comment for obeying. Don't forget everyone, leave me comments because otherwise I won't know who has looked at the site and the boys and I love reading them.
Life has been very busy for us right now trying to keep up with Colby. He is in Cross Country and football. He has competed in two meets and is doing amazing. The first one he had to run 1.2 miles and came in 13th. out of about 75 boys. The second one he ran 2 miles and came in 11th. out of about 60 boys. For just starting out I think he is doing great. He plays his first football game tomorrow. He made 1st. string quarter back and first string corner so he will be playing offense and defense.

Christian Glitter by www.christianglitter.com

Well I hurt my neck last Tuesday and I am in a lot of pain. I went to the doctor and she said take it easy this weekend and put me on steroid pills to make the swelling go down. I am also on pain meds. every 4 hours and muscle relaxer. If I am not better on Tuesday she said I am going to have an MRI done. I feel a little better today but I have not held my head very long so we will see. Troy and the boys went to church and they are coming home to pick me up to go get something to eat. We are going to Frank and Kristy's tonight and we are taking our Wee game so everyone can play Boogi. It is a dance game. I will be on the couch resting. I will update this page with what I hope will be some hilarious pictures after the party.

Hope everyone has a great Labor Day weekend.

Colby is going into 8th. grade. He has eight classes and three are high school courses. He will be taking Spanish, Algebra 1, and IPC (science). I would not dare ask to take a picture of him with his teachers for fear of "THE LOOK". He wanted to spend the night with his friend so I made a deal with him that he would let me take this picture in return he got to spend the night with his friend. (Thanks Josh) Looking at this picture really makes me feel old. Ha! Ha!

Ashton is going into the fifth grade. I can not believe how old he is getting. He had one teacher last year and this year he has five. AHHHHH!!!! He is a little nervous about all the teachers and he keeps worrying that he wont remember where to go. I think once he gets the hang of it he will be ok.

Jayden is going into the second grade this year. What happened to my baby? He is very excited for school to start. His teacher Mrs. Mondragon is one of his friends mom so that makes it easier on him since he already knew her. She is a sweet and kind hearted lady so I think they will get along fine.

Please Pray for my friend Martha

This is a photo of the Kizer family. They are Allin, Martha, Garrett, & Allyson. The reason I put this on here is to ask all who read this to take a moment and pray for my friend Martha. She has been in the hospital since Friday and today is Sunday night and she is still there. She had been feeling week so Allin told her to go to the doctor so she did and they said they could not find anything but they took some blood and sent it off. On Friday they were moving into their new house when they got a call telling them to come in right away. They admitted her to the hospital because her blood level was very low. By Saturday night they had given her 6 pints of blood. The doctors did more tests on her and found a mass in her colon. They went in and it was so large they could not get the scope through so she will have to have that part of her colon removed. The doctors feel certain that it is not cancer but the results are still not in. She is very tired and has a lot on her mind right now. I am asking for everyone to please pray for my friend and her family.
Today is the day we took pictures of the boys collections. Ashton has a huge collection of Pokemon cards. He also has some games and books.
This is Colby's collection of trophies and photos from all the sports he has been in over the last five years.
Jayden received another ducky today from our friends Charlie & Gina. It was a SAWS duck from San Antonio Water System where Charlie works. We thought we would show everyone how much he likes ducks. These are just some of his collection. I can not wait to see what his next one will be and who it will be from.

Well here we are in August and our air compressor went out in our Suburban. I was driving on 1604 and all of a sudden the air conditioner started blowing hot air. Then there was a crazy noise ( foreign to a woman) and the car smelled horrible like burning chemicals. So we had to call a tow truck to pick up me and the boys. (mind you 4 people do not fit in a tow truck) so we waited for Troy on the side of the road. Now we are once again in the hole ya now the money hole. So please send all checks, credit cards, coupons, or food stamps to the carless people . HA! Ha! Well I think I will get my ride back on Tuesday. Nothing like being without wheels for five days. This is a picture of our suburban when it froze here. I am kinda embarrassed that this is the only picture I have of our car.

Kristy bought Jayden a new rubber ducky. Anybody who knows Jady knows he LOVES his duckies. I have never seen a tourist ducky before. Jayden was very excited. Thanks a bunch Kristy.

Oh by the way Kristy if you don't like this picture of yourself you need to get your eyes checked, because I think you look pretty dang good if I do say so myself.

Troy is texting on the swings at Fiesta Texas. Whats up with that. I'm not sure but I think Jayden has just seen an alien. (or Troy farted and Jayden is in a daze.)

We ran into some friends at Fiesta Texas. I think they might actually be family. Wierdos!!

Jayden is driving now so watch yourself on the road.

Troy preached tonight for the youth at church. He did a great job I was so proud of him. I wish I had picture of him preaching.
Brady Misty and the girls came for a visit. It rained but we still enjoyed our time together.
